Aurora igloo Porvoo is located in Elämyspoukama, in a magnificent spot in the heart of Porvoo’s archipelago, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding nature. The large panoramic windows of the AuroraHut igloos bring in natural light and enable the admiration of stunning sunsets and maritime landscapes directly from the accommodation space.

During the summer, you can book the igloos to use them as boats. An eco-friendly electric motor moves the AuroraHut igloo exactly where you want, whether it’s to enjoy the scenery or try your luck with fishing from the terrace dock of the AuroraHut igloo boat. In the winter, ice fishing is possible through the ice hole that opens through the hut floor.

We also offer a variety of activities. You can relax on the terrace, enjoying the sea views, go fishing in the nearby waters, or explore the surrounding islands by kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP). From Elämyspoukama’s rental service, you can also rent e-fatbikes, electric bicycles, to explore not only Porvoo’s old town but the wider area both in summer and winter.

In the winter, you can take a dip in the hole in the ice and enjoy the gentle warmth of the sauna.

A rowing boat awaits you in Poukama harbour. After a short rowing trip, we arrive at a small island reserved just for you. A hammock and other essentials are ready for you to enjoy a summer evening in the archipelago. After self made breakfast and the short row back to Poukama, you can take a shower before leaving.

Old Porvoo is one of the most photographed national landscapes in Finland. On this tour we admire the colorful wooden houses, winding cobbled streets and beautiful nature of Porvoo national urban park guided by a local guide. The tour starts from Porvoo bus station. The route takes you trough old Porvoo to Linnamäki. We continue along riverside and Porvoo national urban park to Hamari’s telegraph hill. The route ends in Poukama on Emäsalo Island where you can enjoy campfire coffee and cinnamon buns. After a bit of relaxing a car takes you back to central Porvoo.
